Mac Miller, the darling of the hip hop world and mates/collaborator with the likes of Wiz Khalifa and Pharrell Williams is coming to Australia for his own tour, hitting up Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
The hip hop prodigy with childhood honed skills in piano, drums, guitar, and bass, is now one of the most talked about emcees, taking the internet and music industry by storm after releasing a bunch of mixtapes as a teenager, that resulted in record labels grappling with one another to have Miller signed.
He's currently signed to independent label, Rostrum Records, which also has Wiz Khalifa, Vali, Boaz, Donora and Teammate on their roster. Miller isn't yet 21.
His popularity spiked after one of his video clips, 'Donald Trump', racked up over 71 million on the YouTubes, with Trumpy himself Tweeting the video and saying he's flattered to be mentioned in a hip hop song, creepily similar to the Gotye-Ashton Kutcher Tweet to success phenomenon. Trump declared Miller the "new Eminem" and said he's "very proud of him", because apparently we all need Trump's endorsement and praise to be innovative, talented and successful - just ask Obama.
The street buzz and pwning of the social media have seen previous Mac Miller shows sell like hotcakes around the world, so make sure you have your trigger fingers ready for the Niche and Live Nation pre-sale at 9am Friday 14 December and at 9am Monday 17 December for the general public tix.
