Any ticket issued is subject to the following conditions and may be revoked by the issuer, proprietor of the venue and/or organiser of the event for breach of any of the specified conditions. Eventfinda may change or amend these Terms & Conditions of Sale at any time.
Overview
Eventfinda Pty Ltd (A.C.N. 138 527 661) (“Eventfinda”) (“we”, “us” and “our”) provides software for ticket sales to event promoters, venues, artists and other event organisers (“Promoter”). Any representations made by the Promoter regarding the event at any time and any associated complaints or claims are the responsibility of the Promoter and not Eventfinda. The Promoter sets ticket prices.
You agree to be bound by these terms of use. These terms apply only to Eventfinda’s software and website and do not apply to any websites or services outside of the eventfinda.com.au domain.
Eventfinda may update these terms from time to time by posting a new version on its website, and the terms (as varied) will be binding on you from the date they are posted.
Your ticket
No tickets to the Promoter’s event(s) are sold by Eventfinda. All tickets are sold by the Promoter using Eventfinda’s platform and the Promoter receives all ticket sales funds directly, with Eventfinda never holding any ticketing funds related to the event.
You can print your ticket(s) immediately upon confirmation of your credit card authorisation by clicking the Download & Print Ticket button. A confirmation email which contains a PDF of your ticket is sent to the email address you provided during the ticket purchasing process, from which you can print your ticket(s). You can also print your ticket(s) from your Eventfinda profile at My Eventfinda > Tickets.
Look after your ticket(s) as you would cash. It must be presented in order to gain admittance to the event. The code on the ticket uniquely identifies this ticket and the purchaser, and can be redeemed only once. Multiple copies of this ticket will not allow multiple entries. In the event that multiple copies of this code are presented at the event, the Promoter may refuse entry to all ticket holders presenting tickets with this code.
When presenting concession tickets or entering events with an age restriction in place, appropriate identification must be shown. If suitable identification is not presented, you may be refused admittance to the event.
All ticket prices are shown in AU Dollars and include GST where applicable.
Purchase from unauthorised sources
Tickets are sold by the Promoter using Eventfinda’s platform. Do not purchase tickets from any source other than the event promoter using Eventfinda Pty Ltd’s platform. Tickets purchased from any other source may be unauthorised copies and may be refused admittance to the event.
Ticket limits
Ticket purchases are limited to a total of 20 tickets per transaction. If you need to purchase more than 20 tickets for an event, you will have to purchase in a separate transaction. This policy is meant to restrict unfair purchasing practices.
Changes in program
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, replace, add or substitute artists or performers without notice.
Recording / audiotaping events
Cameras and video recorders, audiotape recorders and other types of recording devices may be prohibited at the event.
Refusal of admission or ejection for objectionable behaviour
The Promoter or venue reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose behaviour does not comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the venue and/or Promoter.
Credit card problems
Ticket payments are made directly to the Promoter. Sales are subject to the Promoter’s terms and conditions, including in relation to payment issues and chargebacks. If you experience an issue with a credit card payment, you must contact the Promoter or your bank for a resolution.
Limitation of Liability
Eventfinda provides you only with the ability to purchase tickets from the Promoter and has no responsibility for the Promoter’s action, inaction or the event.
Eventfinda does not warrant the performance or the integrity of the Promoter. Any representations made by the Promoter regarding the event at any time and any associated complaints or claims are the responsibility of the Promoter and are not Eventfinda’s responsibility.
Eventfinda is not responsible for any acts or omissions of the Promoter, for any obligations undertaken or representations that they may make, or for any other products or services they may supply to you, either directly or via Eventfinda’s platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventfinda’s liability for the Promotor’s conduct, changes to the event, refunds, exchanges, cancellations and postponements is excluded. Your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty or other liability is as stated in the Promoter’s terms and conditions. If you have a complaint, you must contact the Promoter.
Eventfinda has no control over the intellectual property used by the Promoter, and therefore does not take any responsibility for any liability arising as a result of the Promoter’s actions.
Except to the extent already set out in these terms, we have no liability (including liability for negligence or recklessness) to any person for any loss or damage (direct, consequential or otherwise) suffered or incurred by any person in relation to any goods or services supplied by us (or any of our employees, officers or agents). Without limiting the generality of this limitation, we have no liability for any loss or damage resulting from any failure, defect or deficiency of any kind in any goods or services, and we are not liable for any loss of profit or special, indirect or consequential damages of any kind.
All queries about any event before or after any ticket purchase must only be made directly to the event Promoter and not to Eventfinda. All post purchase queries must only be made directly to the event promoter, including but not limited to, any requests for refunds.
