Angela Taylor Memorial Run/Walk

The Angela Taylor Memorial Run/Walk welcomes all individual runners or walkers and is a family (and dog) friendly event. There's a category to match all levels of fitness – a leisurely 5km walk or you can choose 5km or 10km run.
This year will be the 35th running of the event and honours Victorian Police officer Angela Taylor, who died while on duty when a car bomb exploded outside the police complex in Russell St Melbourne on the 27th of March 1986. Angela took the full force of the explosion and on the 20th of April she died in hospital.

All funds raised go to the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation's community hospital program, which has raised over $12 million for hospital projects throughout Victoria.
