The GC, one of Adelaide Fringe’s most popular hard-top venues over the past six years, is set to re-boot in 2021 with two wonderful weekends of top-notch shows, including the World Premiere of a brand-new performance by Fringe favourite, Stewart D’Arrietta.
From Thursday, March 18 to Sunday, March 21, the GC Grand Central will return to the much-loved Dom Polski Centre on Angas St, presenting 6 different shows with 11 performances for a more mature aged Fringe audience.
For the very first time, the GC will also be held in Victor Harbor at the Town Hall the week prior (Friday, March 5 to Sunday, March 7), offering the popular Fringe experience to a wider community.
In a World Premiere, popular musical artist, Stewart D’Arrietta, along with his band, will debut his new show “My Joe Cocker”, highlighting the great songs made famous by the gritty British singer including ‘Feelin’ Alright’, ‘A Little Help From My Friends’, ‘You Can Leave Your Hat On’, and many others.
Stewart is also the man behind the successful, long-running festival shows “Lennon Through and Glass Onion” and “My Leonard Cohen” which will also be shown at this year’s GC in Victor Harbor only.
